BUSTER AND ME
About a boy, a dog – and the line dance for a father's love
Lukas has always been different because of his distinctive appearance, his uncertain way of speaking and his vivid imagination. These qualities have made him the mascot of a small circus where he performs clown acts with his father and the dog Buster. Lukas loves his father very much, but doesn’t understand why he doesn’t act like himself anymore. Once he was always happy and nice and joking with Lukas. It was then that Lukas’s mother was also there and could walk on a tightrope and fly in a trapeze high up under the tent cloth. She also taught Buster to walk on a tightrope. It was then that everything was good.
Now Lukas’ father always gets angry at the slightest thing and scolds for no reason. Even Buster gets angry with him. Lukas thinks that it is the little bottle that his father always has in his inner pocket that makes him so changed and that one day makes him say that he wants to get rid of Buster because he has become too old to walk line and no longer does his numbers properly. Therefore, Lukas decides that he will leave with Buster and never come back.
